I saw Apple's 1sentence mini-fics, loved the idea. Went exploring through similar comms. Found 100drabbles or something along those lines. While I haven't signed up or even made a claim, I've already written a few. Here's the (only) finished one, so far.
001. Beginnings.
Even the roar of the engine couldn't drown out Rosa's pleading voice, "Please, be careful. Stay safe, come back to me. Please."
From high altitudes, the land below stretched out in the shape of a giant bird; vaguely resembling the Zuu, a creature native to the land. Mysidia was the eye of the bird, unaware of the approaching danger.
"Prepare for landing!" the dark knight's voice boomed, his black sword drawn. "Ready for combat. Kill anyone that interferes."
The Red Wings crew exchanged skeptical glances, but didn't argue the order; blissfully ignorant that this was only the beginning of Baron's great conquest.
